The Benson Hotel

Officially opening our doors on 1 July 2021, The Benson Hotel has taken over a previous hotel.
The property has been given new life from it's external facade, through the Lobby to the deco inspired Restaurant & Bar on level three, overlooking the city skyline.

Existing guest rooms have experienced a stage one refresh with new carpet, curtains, paint and 55" Smart TVs with the bathrooms and furnishing to be refurbished in stage two over the coming months.

Located in the heart of the central business district, The Benson Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Convention Center, Reef Casino, reef departure terminals, Esplanade Lagoon and Promenade. Free WiFi is included.

For a more active time, go canoeing or horse riding. Make your own unique tour of the area with a rented bicycle or car. Return to a favorite drink at the bar, open from Tuesday-Saturday.

The Benson Bar & Restaurant is a combination of relaxation and sophistication, offering an array of cocktails, modern dining and local delicacies. The restaurant opens from 6:30 am everyday and the bar from 12 pm till late. It also offers outdoor seating to enjoy the tropical climate.

Nice Hotel But Beware Of Noise on Weekends!
Very good location. Hotel is modern and decorated nicely. I especially liked the white marble walls / black and white colors. Breakfast buffet is nice, especially the croissants.
The hotel's location is a problem too - Right across the street from Gilligan's, a.k.a., party central for young travelers. As my luck would have it I stayed at the Benson on a weekend; so, the noise from Gilligan's (music & loud/rowdy drunkards) all night was a problem - I was on the 9th floor. To make things worse, it seems the hotel had the same or other young drunk bonehead a-holes on the same floor I was. I was woken up by their noise at Midnight, 2 AM, etc. because groups of them decided to have conversations in the hallway. I was not happy with the staff's lack of timely response to my request to fix or replace the table lamp in my room. The night attendant at the front desk on Saturday, April 6 '24, at 6:22 AM to whom I first reported this problem did not note my request - He seemed to ignore me because it looked like he was doing something on his computer. When I returned to my room in the evening of that date, the lamp was not fixed. They fixed it after that.
